I aquired this about 2 to 3 years ago but if you want a box that misses recordings, comes out of standby for no reason (--- no that isn't strictly correct -- the blue power light comes on but it is still in standb...

Re: Popping and crackling on HD live / recordings

Both, I haven't used my box for ages but that echo effect I first noticed when the red caption screen was displayed when the BBC went to regional news. At the end of the regional news and nation wide programming resumed the sound had the echo on it --- changing channels restored the sound. I left th...

Re: Popping and crackling on HD live / recordings

Matt. Thanks for the reply --- I see you are also on Digital Spy --- I am as well but under a different name. That accounts for why I don't get Motors TV --- Preseli West Wales does not have COM7 --- Motors TV is on 240 so is the one that needs a compatable box with broad band. I can receive it via ...

Re: Popping and crackling on HD live / recordings

HI larkim --- long time no post from me !! Just off topic for a post or 2 --- you say you have rescanned to get "Motors TV channel into my EPG". Does this infernal box, which I have not used for ages, receive Motors TV with broad band attached to the box please? Mine is somewhere in the attic --- I ...

Re: Mine's Dead

As there is a pause in postings thought I'd say "Hi guys" --- don't want to start a new topic. I don't use my 3View right now as I won a View21 PVR. You think the 3View has problems .....!! I receive the Eire Saorview service for RTE etc. They brought on MUX2 a few weeks ago ---- my View21 finds all...
